Happy Birthday Envato!

Envato is celebrating their fifth birthday in the way they know best: discounting amazing resources.

I’m, of course, an Envato fanboy. I read the blogs, shop the marketplaces and I have scored the Birthday Bundle the past few years. This year’s bundle is, by far, the best they have ever released. What made it an instant purchase for me was the Premium Pixels theme. I haven’t spent as much time as I would have liked blogging and customizing the Twenty Eleven theme as I would have liked to so far.

Styling HTML Entities

The awesome amigos over at Paravel cooked up Lettering.js and I’ve been wanting to put it to use for a while. At ConvergeSE they were discussing it, which reminded me of something that I’ve been wanting to do: style html entities. I haven’t found anything that really does it (or people really looking to do it), but I definitely have the need. Some web fonts (*cough* Proxima Nova *cough*) don’t necessarily treat the entities the way that I’d like and I wish there was a way to style them individually.
